Let me preclude this by saying that most of you know that Matt is a big Nascar fan, and one of his favorite drivers is Jimmie Johnson.

So yeterday morning as we are getting ready for church Dane out of the blue says “I bet Jimmie Johnson has a bigger house than us” Yes dear, you are probably right. “Okay, let’s go to his church today!”. LOL

Have you recovered from the Super Bowl excitement? We don’t really get into football here… Matt ended up going to watch it with some guys from church, (probably the first football game he watched all year) and I watched bits and pieces at home but missed the best plays at the end… (I got the re-cap on the news).

We had the strangest weather yesterday – it was snowing with thunder & lightning. It was really pretty when the lightning lit up the snow, but was still a bit strange.. The weather guy called it “snow thunder”. I don’t think I had ever experienced that before.

Well, guess I better get the boys up and ready for school. Christian & Dane are up, Ryan is still snoozing.

Here are a few minutes of the boys playing basketball. You can enjoy all the funny plays along with Dane & Christian talking about boogers in the background That and eating their baby bottle pops – what a sticky mess that was! Ryan is Orange – 3, and Christian is Purple – 9.

I took this the same day we made the Fairytale Cake. I thought you would enjoy seeing what we are greeted with each time we open our sliding glass door. Right now we have:
Snickers (Mama Kitty who showed up first)
Garfield – Big Orange Boy – Two Litters Ago
Oreo – The one that looks like chewed up oreo cookies – two litters ago
And the 4 Babies
Dreamsicle – Long hair orange – boy
Fluffy – Calico Long Hair – girl
Tiger – orange short hair – girl
Racer – Calico Short Hair – girl

I know Tiger and Racer aren’t exactly girl’s names – what can I say – the boys named them…

I am compiling some videos tonight that I have taken over the last couple weeks. This is one I took (while driving) of the town we go grocery shopping etc. in. This is the remains of the flood – everything on the sides of the road that people had to throw out – it was so sad to drive by and see all the streets lined with this. Most things have been cleaned up now, but it was like this for a couple weeks.
