Aprons & Binders, Oh My!

Filed under: Fun Places To Visit — Christine at 2:45 pm on Monday, March 15, 2010

Can you help me out?  I recently had a booth at a mom’s convention, and I ended up with a surplus of aprons & some Kid Approved Meals Binders that I need to unload – quickly…  The aprons are made out of boutique high end materials.  They are beautiful!  They would be perfect for Easter, Mother’s Day or Birthday presents.  I am selling them at my cost – $17 for women’s & $15 for kids which includes shipping & tax.  (They retail for $30 plus shipping & tax, so you are getting them 1/2 off).   I only have a few of each pattern, so it’s first come, first serve.

For Kid Approved Meals, this is the book I sell at www.KidApprovedMeals.com  I just revised it last week, so this is the new and improved version.  It includes 13 weeks of breakfast & lunch menus with grocery shopping lists, as well as 27 pages of snack ideas.  The fun part is that I had custom binders printed to hold the book.  These are a limited edition item, as I probably will not get any more binders printed.  The price is $20 which includes shipping & tax.  The ebook on the website is $14.95.  So for $5 more you get 117 pages printed (You can hardly print it at home for that price) plus you get the cute binder & it shipped to you!  It’s a great deal!  Once again, I am just recouping my cost, not making a profit. I just need these out of my house.    And as I said before, it is first serve until we run out.

Hi there!  I have something fun to share today.  My mom is a wonderful seamstress, and I have been encouraging her to open an Etsy Shop to share with the world her creations.  She has been selling locally in her hometown, in one of the local businesses, but she hadn’t made her online presence yet.  Finally, last night she called me to let me know that she had opened her Etsy Shop!  YEA!  I was so excited.  So far she just has a few purses in there, (I’m sure she’ll be adding more items soon) but you have to go check them out – they are so cute!  I personally am in love with this one.  Someone better go buy it before I do!

Head on over to check out the other designs as well!  I’m sure she will appreciate having some traffic, and if you fall in love with one, I’m sure she would love a sale as well!

P.S.  If you have a friend who would like these, would you please share with them as well?  I would love to see her have a great start in her new business!  http://www.etsy.com/shop/Hoppertogs

Restaurant Gift Certificates – CHEAP

Filed under: Fun Places To Visit — Christine at 12:32 am on Wednesday, June 27, 2007

I found a fun deal tonight. www.restaurants.com has gift certificates that are discounted a great deal – $25 gift cards for $10. THEN.. when you use the coupon code FREEDOM before 6/30/07 you get 60% off. So that is $25 gift certificates for $4. I haven’t tried using one as they don’t offer restaurants in our area. However, it comes from a reliable source, so it should work fine. ENJOY!
